Wordlfit - Skins - Splitboards skins

Since the beginning of the Stone adventure we have proposed our own skins, the feedback was quite positive but something more was missing.

WORLDFIT

WORLDIFIT skins fit all splitboards on the world market except surfy tails. You will certainly have to cut them in width.

They are exactly the same as our STONY skins in construction except that at the nose you have a Standard Tip, in other words a classic rectangular stainless steel attachment system & at the tail you have what is called a Butterfly, a triangle that fits in the angle of the splitboard tail. Several sizes are available, so check the length you need.

We have WORLDFIT splitboard skins from another brand than STONE! With the cutting kit you can cut them in the width.

The nose attachment is classic, all nose shapes fit in this attachment.

At the tail the butterfly will fit all splitboard tail shapes on the market.

The adjustment will be optimal on the length as well as on the width. Several sizes of skins are available depending on the size of your splitboard. Don't be mistaken!

The premium Mixmohair is suitable for all types of terrain and snow conditions. It offers longevity and perfect grip, even for multiple ascents.

The new KOHLA Fiberseal Technology results in a thin, very robust and completely waterproof skin which, thanks to its small size, fits into any hiking backpack.

Maximum flexibility is also ensured by the "Smart Glue" used in STONY & WORLDFIT skins.

A newly developed, state-of-the-art adhesive that guarantees easy handling and removal of the skins, even when putting them on and taking them off repeatedly.

In addition, these skins are not only suitable for all types of snow, but also for a wide variety of splitboard types. So you'll have maximum freedom for your splitboarding trips! 

The main advantage of the new Fiber Seal construction is a 3-layer system without a cotton-polyester layer on the bottom, which means it is much more water resistant than cotton. 

We use Smart Glue because in the end it is the one that best fits all Stoners while being the most durable over time. Our experience has allowed us to find the right compromise between a skin that comes off too easily (those of past seasons, & skins that come off with difficulty (those we have already tested in skiing for example). Basically our new skins are a mix of both. For example : 

Vacuum (skin adhesion) = about 3-4 kg of energy to separate (sometimes too little, especially in difficult conditions, or 3-4 times a day)

Hot-melt Standard (traditional glue): 17-18kg of energy to separate the skins (especially for women, sometimes too difficult to gather the skins and you can destroy the surface if you don't take the protective film.

Smart Glue (new exclusive development for Stone by Kohla): about 7-8kg of energy to separate the skins (we think this is the ideal standard for all those who want a perfect combination of easy handling and sufficient safety for longer or more difficult split tours)

These figures are always measured on a 110mm wide and 170cm long board!
