Snowboards from Stone Snowboards

Stone Snowboards offers a wide range of snowboards to suit your world. Passionate about snowboarding above all else, we make it a point of honor to offer you snowboards that combine innovation and performance to give you the best possible ride. What's more, our selection of boards is designed to meet the needs of riders of all levels, from beginners eager to learn, to seasoned experts in search of new sensations.

So whether you're a freeride enthusiast, putting Cork rotations or Jibs in the snowparks, or hitting the slopes, we've got a board for you.

Our snowboards are the result of a combination of technical expertise, high-quality materials and meticulous design. To design our boards, we use our own unique, original molds, so that you can enjoy a meticulous design, to give you optimum performance on your runs. Our boards are designed with wood cores from sustainable forests, carefully selected for their lightness and responsiveness, and bio-resin to try to change the use of bad materials on our scale. Each element is meticulously integrated to create a snowboard that combines power, maneuverability and durability.

Features of our snowboards

We know how difficult it can be to choose a new snowboard. That's why we're here to help you make the right choice by showing you the different technical criteria for each board.

Let's start with the flex of your future board. You'll be able to buy a snowboard with a flex of between 6 and 8. The higher the number, the stiffer your board will be.

Next, what about the camber of your board? A pictogram will tell you the camber style of your snowboard. For most boards, we've decided to offer classic camber, as it's the most versatile type of camber.

The size of your board is an essential criterion for making the right choice. To find your ideal board size, we advise you to subtract 20 cm from your height. To find out more, take a look at our "How to choose a snowboard" guide (link to How to choose a snowboard page). The sizes available for each board are indicated by snowboard pictograms.

Finally, you'll find 4 different logos for each type of riding.

Firstly, the kicker logo is, as you may have guessed, for snowboards designed for freestyle and backflips.

The second, the snowpark ramp logo, is found on boards designed for use in and around the snowpark. These snowboards are designed to withstand the various terrains that will caress their soles.

The third logo, representing a mountain, is present on all boards compatible with all types of terrain and all types of riding. As you can see, this logo indicates that the board is an all-mountain board.

Finally, the fourth logo you'll come across during your selection is the helicopter logo, which is assigned to freeride boards. A selection of snowboards is therefore dedicated to the most daring among you, who dare to venture onto uncharted slopes.

In addition to all this information, each board comes with a brief description to help you choose your new snowboard.

In addition to our boards, we also offer the whole range in packs. (link to snowboard pack pages) Snowboard packs are made up of the board and the appropriate bindings to give you a complete snowboarding experience.

How to choose your snowboard?

You choose your snowboard according to your practice. If you want to do jumps, carving and little big powder, you will choose a freestyle board. If you want to do jumps, carving & also powder, you take an all mountain board, if you want to do only powder & carving without doing jumps, you take a pure freeride snowboard.

What is my snowboarding level?

If you are a beginner, you should not choose a snowboard that is too powdery. You should first progress on a more accessible snowboard, freestyle type, with a nose & tail of the same length. For an intermediate level, then you can choose boards a little more technical. With shapes and programs a little more different. For an expert level, we choose a snowboard for each type of practice.

What size should I choose for my snowboard?

Generally, we choose a board that is 20 cm less than our height for everyday use. In freestyle, if you are 175 cm tall, you will choose a 155 cm board. When you want an all mountain board, you can add 5 cm without any problem to have a little more lift in the powder. When you want a freeride board, there is no limit. We will take a board big enough, because we know that the bigger it is, the easier it will be to float in the powder. On the other hand, you will float well but the movements will be a little more complicated. It is important to choose the right board for the use you want to make of it.

What width of snowboard?

You will find the dimensions of our boards in the description. Generally, the board sizes match the size of the board. There are very few big boards with dimensions for small sizes. Vice versa. The width of a snowboard is important for the size of the feet. The thinner a board is, the more fun it is to ride for smaller riders. On the contrary, the bigger a rider is and the bigger his feet are, the wider the board will have to be to avoid touching the tip of his feet and the heels. This is what we call the skate rib.
