Snowboard Farther

We've been eagerly waiting to release it, and here it is! The Farther, a new board with a new mold. As always with Stone, it's top-of-the-line. Our long-time graphic designer Steve Goilliiot Villers had a blast creating this design, aiming to highlight our beautiful mountains. Pure and sleek, the Farther is a true board for enjoying fresh powder, but that's not all. On the groomers, you can carve smooth, high-speed turns thanks to its Carbon X reinforcement from nose to tail, allowing for responsive turns without losing grip. In powder, with its shape and setback, you can glide effortlessly thanks to its waist width and construction. With its sharp nose, refined curves, and raised tail, you can even ride switch. In the backcountry, you'll have fun in all types of snow. It's a board that is responsive while still being playful. The Farther is designed for intermediate to advanced riders.

The topsheet of this board is made of biaxial fiber, ensuring you won't get tired throughout the day, allowing you to ride without discomfort. We've designed its core with this in mind, using FSC-certified poplar wood from Polish forests, not far from where we manufacture. We've given this freeride board a flex rating of 8, achieved by varying the core thickness. From experience, we know that a board needs to be a bit stiff at first to quickly adapt to your style. The flex will adjust the more you ride. The Farther's finish is glossy to make the design pop.
