FREERIDE
What could be better than practicing your sport freely? Get off the beaten path, jump any bump, enjoy the powder in all its states! Freeriding is the essence of snowboarding. To do so, it is essential to know the risks of the riding area, necessary to know the weather and wise to have the right board. Generally less centered on its inserts with sometimes a typed shape, the freeride snowboard is moved back on the back leg (set back). Why? The more you are on the back leg, the less you will force & the more you will float in the powder. You can re-center your bindings by moving them from insert to insert, but if you don't you won't be hindered on the trail from doing any kind of revving or curving.
ALL MOUNTAIN
It's kind of like freestyle with a freeride accent. A more experienced rider will take an all mountain snowboard to go anywhere. On the piste, in the powder or in a snowpark.  If we have the budget we will definitely have a board for each practice. It's always better, now if we don't want to take the headache, then we will choose this program to do everything. Generally with a slight set back on the back foot of a few centimeters, we will also find that the flex is often a little stiffer, which is a little less forgiving than a freestyle board.  When you need to send it on the track or in the variable snow, it will hold better.
